SoCal Wheels, Inc is a Southern California based corporation. We primarily buy and sell used and take-off original equipment wheels and tires.
The company was started in 1996 by Chris Granger to manufacture, and distribute custom wheel and automotive front end measuring equipment, as well as buy and sell used and trade in wheels and tires.
The original name of the company was Granger Performance Technologies. Incorporated in 2005 doing business as GPTech,Inc. The name was changed to SoCal Wheels, Inc. in 2010 to better reflect our focus in the wheel and tire industry.
Although we no longer manufacture measuring equipment, Chris is still an expert in measuring special applications and fitments for any kind of automotive wheel and tire combination.
We purchase our inventory from car dealers, wheel and tire shops and private individuals. We inspect them, clean them and resell them to the industry and general public via our website and local business.
Chris has been in the wheel business since 1986, and has been involved in manufacturing, import and export, local wholesale and spent 11 years as a manager of a large custom wheel and tire shop.
Chris added another career in 1999 and now pursues his passion as a professional Jet pilot, while wholesaling/consulting in the wheel and tire industry.
He was joined in 2005 by his brother-in-law, Mike who brought his expertise in internet sales to create what SoCal Wheels, Inc is today. An internet based retailer of automotive wheels and tires.
Our family business is based on simple, honest values. All incoming inventory is inspected for safety and described the best we can via text, pictures, and part number referencing exactly what is being sold, and in what condition. Then we price it to be a value to our customer.
